| ¬ NEWS - Clearing up some issues. | ||

It's not my usual style, but I feel like there is a need to speak clearly here, for once. To all those who've "asked" (for) stuff in the recent days, via comments, pm's and emails, you know who I'm talking to, here are some clear statements, for everyone. 1. No, we don't have a problem with cnet. And no, we don't have any kind of love affair either. We will use the translations we want to, who the fuck are you to tell us what to do? Generally, I feel like using the translator who's the easiest to deal with. That includes direct contact to him, and him answering asap when I contact him. Cnet wasn't always the easiest person to deal with, that's all I can say about it. On the other hand, molokidan is a professional translator, native in english, living in japan, making his cash by translating among other things. As for Naruhodo, he's already got quite a few years of professional audio and text translations down, so even more experienced. I dare say our translators are fucking awesome. 2. This joint isn't any kind of direct answer to SF and FH teaming up a few weeks back. Our joint was in the works for a couple weeks now, and is planned to be a long-running venture, not a one-time thing. Also, it'd be our first time caring for what other groups do, I guarantee you, that is not the case. 3. That's right, international scanlators can't use our scans. 90% or more of them are lazy bastards who exist for a few weeks of fame, whining about how it's too hard to clean out bubbles. Boo fucking hoo, I'm tired of all the pm's asking for cleaned psd's, I'm tired of reporting 15 stolen versions of our scans every week on mangahelpers, mangashare and other sites, and I'm not even trying to go on the spanish sites that have only stolen scans per se. Just clean your own damn raws, you've got every chance to as we do. 4. My dear people whining about the watermarks... firstly, go and blame the international scanlators who can't respect simple requests, it's their fault. Next, go blame all the websites ripping our scans, among them our most famous manga-criminal tazmo and his narutofan.com, mangahut.com, mangareader.net, bleachexile and many many more. Some just don't give a fuck if you ask them politely to not mirror. At this spot I have to leave some words of respect for onemanga and mangafox, thanks for being so responsible and respectful guys, I really appreciate it. And for those who are sad that they can't archive our scans anymore because of the evil watermarks, here's some good advice: buy the fucking manga, put it in your shelves, sleep well at night knowing you supported your favorite author(s). Sorry for the rudeness here and there, I was just in that kinda mood after the 2 emails I just got a few mins back. Peace out. |

I'll keep this short as I'm writing it on my cell, from my army station... Binktopia and MangaStream will be jointing on various series. We've got a new raw provider who'll hopefully guarantee the future success of this venture. Currently we're working on OP, and without promising anything, I may mention that you could see us picking back up some of the old binktopia projects, such as Naruto (again in a joint) or Reborn. Talking about doing more series, we are in desperate need of more cleaners, please apply to the school and we'll teach you all you need to know within 3 days. Seriously, we need you, and you can be part of something huge. |
